While the New Year’s and Christmas celebrations might be over, but that doesn’t mean that we must wait until spring to enjoy the perfect holiday or vacation. Winter is still a wonderful opportunity to escape and with Valentine’s Day coming up, this is a good time to plan an unforgettable romantic getaway or even a small group enjoying a night out. I do not know about you but when I imagine winter getaways, an occasion, I think of mountains, sipping hot chocolate in front of a gorgeous warm fire (or champaign, but you are getting the idea.) Relaxing in the cozy log cabin looking out and watching skiers leave the lift and glide through the air. Yes, I think you’re thinking (I do not ski or have the desire)–from snow tubing to renting the snowmobile, or going ice fishing, there are a variety of exciting activities outdoors that are suitable for all.
