Halloween Horror Nights 2021 Overview
Universal Orlando Resort marks 30 years of terror this autumn through Halloween Horror Nights 2021, which begins on September 3, and continuing through Sunday, October 31. The guests will experience 10 terrifying haunted homes and five terrifying scare zones, as well as two incredible live shows based upon everything from horror classics to haunting new stories, all written by the sinister imaginations from the Universal’s Entertainment team.
Five additional original haunted houses
Original stories filled with nightmare-inducing terrifying creatures that will envelope visitors within the remaining five haunted houses in the season. Visitors will be able to:
- take a trip into the infamous Halloween Horror Nights town of Carey and experience the most horrific horrors that it has experienced over the last 30 years with ” Welcome to Scary The Horror of the Heartland“

- discover the dark aspect of an innocent practice to expose the darker side of a seemingly innocent ritual ” Revenge of the Tooth Fairy“
These new experiences will be part of this year’s dark and twisted line-up of haunted houses to be featured in Halloween Horror Nights 2021, which will also include the Netflix series “The Haunting of Hill House,” “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre,” “Beetlejuice,” “Universal Monsters: The Bride of Frankenstein Lives” and “Halloween Horror Nights Icons”Captured.”
Five Inscapable Scare Zones
The guests will not find refuge within the borders at Universal Studios Florida…a collection of terrifying characters, supernatural beings and much more await visitors in five new terror zones.

Two Outrageous Live Shows
Two all-new, outrageously-entertaining shows will take center stage at Universal Studios Florida:
- The Marathon of Mayhem: Carnage Factory is a brand new event that takes place at night, which transforms the vast Universal Studios lagoon into renowned images of terror, highlighting the best actors in the world of horror as well as Halloween Horror Nights history that will be featured in this year’s festival.
- Halloween Nightmare Fuel is a smoky new show that features night-time creatures, aerialists of the night, and terrifying fire performers, all set to pulsating electronica, metal, and rock music.
